Research Associate, Education and Public Engagement

I am broadly interested in processes that structure tropical plant communities. For my PhD, I studied how plant-fungus and plant-insect interactions regulate populations of tree seedlings and maintain seedling diversity in rainforests. I have previously studied avian seed dispersal in rainforests, and vegetation clustering in resource poor semi-arid ecosystems. I am also intrigued by citizen science, and my current work is focused on using citizen provided information to better understand bird distributions in India.
